The art of living well

An ecosystem of knowledge, experiences and community, shaped by thoughtful curation and diverse perspectives.

Manifesto

Living longer is an achievement.

But what do we want to do with the time we have gained?

We want energy for what moves us. Clarity to make difficult choices. Freedom to change course. And people worth sharing the journey with.

Yet in the rush of daily life, it is easy to lose sight of this. Work takes over. Health gets put off. Friendships wait for a gap in the schedule.

Until a question arises: is the life we are leading the one we want to live?

Humana was born from that question. From a desire to look at life as a whole: body, mind, relationships and choices that make sense.

Here, science opens up possibilities rather than closing down conversations. Lived experience broadens our perspective too.

Because a good conversation can change a decision. A gathering can spark a friendship. And an idea only gains strength when it finds a place in life.

We are not chasing a perfect life. More than adding years, we want to make life count.

Three territories. Six lenses.

The three territories are what we cultivate. The six lenses guide what we bring in.

Vitality to act. Clarity to choose. Connection to find meaning.

Humana brings together scientists, researchers, physicians, philosophers, thinkers, artists and specialists, alongside knowledge partners, through a discerning, multidisciplinary curatorial approach. We are not just looking for big names. We are looking for great conversations.

HUMANA Rigor

Distinguishing evidence, hypothesis, lived experience and opinion. Each piece of content identifies its nature. Claims about health and behavior include sources and, depending on the risk, a review by a specialist appointed by HUMANA. Sponsors do not influence the classification.

Evidence
What research already supports, with sources provided.
Hypothesis
Promising ideas and studies that are still being tested or debated.
Lived experience
Stories, practices and knowledge drawn from life. A different kind of knowledge, no less valuable.
Opinion
The author's reflection or point of view, clearly identified as such.

The label does not rank different kinds of knowledge: it tells readers what kind of claim they are reading. Corrections and updates appear as public editorial notes.

How we work

Through curation that separates what matters from the noise and offers different paths for real life.

  1. LearnBring big ideas closer to real life.
  2. ExperienceLive it, rather than just listen.
  3. ConnectBuild relationships and share discoveries.
  4. IntegrateBring what resonated into everyday life, and keep going after the gathering.
